Born in Brooklyn, New York, HaRav Shraga Kallus shlita is a respected Rosh Kollel, Rav, Posek and public speaker. He is a talmid of HaGaon Rav Tzvi Kushelevsky shlita of Yeshivas Heichal HaTorah where he learned for six years. After his marriage, he continued learning in the Mir whilst simultaneously having personal shimush from Maran HaRav Elyashiv zt”l, and Maran HaRav Rav Moshe Shternbuch shlita. Rabbi Kallus began delivering daily halacha shiurim in Yeshivas Torah Ohr , thus forging a strong relationship with HaGaon Rav Chaim Pinchos Scheinberg zt”l.
Today, Rabbi Kallus is the Rosh Kollel of The Second Seder Kollel and Kollel Nachlas Shraga, the Rav of Khal Imrei Pi, Ramat Shlomo and gives shiurim in various Yeshivos, including Aderes HaTorah, Beis Yisroel, and Mir. He is a keynote speaker at the Agudas Yisrael, Mir and summer London summer yarchei kallah, as well as giving shiurim in Jewish communities worldwide.Best known for his unique blend of immense knowledge and practical guidance, with stories, wit and humor, shiur topics span not only the entire spectrum of halacha but also mussar and hashkafa

In 2009, HaRav Shraga Kallus shlita opened The “Second Seder Kollel” for avreichim looking to learn halacha.The talmidim utilize these precious years to gain the essential skills and knowledge that enable them to develop a solid grasp of the halachah and hashkafa pertaining to everyday life as a Torah Jew.
